Zusammenfassung:“False Positives” in ABO bloodstain grouping may result from interference from homologous (i.e. human) sources or from adventitious substances such as moulds, bacteria or from other organic and inorganic origins. An ad hoc study is reported in which several possible sources of adventitious substances have been examined insofar as they affect ABO bloodstain grouping by the Absorption-Elution method after ammoniacal extraction.
