Zusammenfassung:	1. 1. Six cases of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans have been presented. 2. 2. The clinicopathologic features of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans were discussed. It was pointed out that microscopic tumor spreads from the main body of the tumor and probably accounts for the high incidence of local recurrence. The necessity for wide local excision of the tumor was stressed.
