THE FAILURE OF PYRIDOXINE IN SUPPRESSION OF PUERPERAL LACTATION

Summary The benefits of pyridoxine in the suppression of lactation were assessed in a double blind controlled trial on 175 puerperal women. No significant differences were demonstrated between pyridoxine and the placebo whether assessed by subjective discomfort or by the persistence of lactation.
