Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A new method for analysis of phenolic steroids is reported. It consists of dibromination with bromine-82, a gamma emitter with a half-life of 36 hr. This method is very sensitive (1 mμg), reasonably accurate (> 80% recovery from urine, > 95% recovery from plasma at the 10-mμg level), quite precise (±3%), and highly specific. Specificity is assured by gradient elution chromatography, followed by dilution with carrier and recrystallization to constant specific activity.
