Zusammenfassung:An antifungal antibiotic from the culture filtrates of a Bacillus subtilis strain has been purified by extraction procedures and by calcium phosphate chromatography. Both in the ultracentrifuge and electrophoresis, the purified antibiotic revealed a single peak. Data have been presented concerning the sedimentation, diffusion, partial specific volume, and the electrophoretic mobility of the antibiotic. A molecular weight of 54,100 and a frictional ratio of 1.26 were calculated for the antibiotic.
