Zusammenfassung:Nonsuture repair of 120 major venous channels has been performed over the past nine months in 40 animals. No deaths in this group were due to hemorrhage, thrombosis, infection or luminal stenosis at the site of repair. Reestablishment of luminal endothelium was observed within 48 hours, and in sections taken after three months it was difficult to determine the location of the incision in the vessel wall.
