Lung Tumors in Hamsters Produced by Polyoma Virus

Summary Polyoma virus given intranasally produced primary lung tumors in hamsters. Some animals showed visceral involvement. Growths were largely fibrosarcomatous. Hamsters injected by other routes showed almost no lung neoplasia.
