Zusammenfassung:	Mice were given double‐stranded RNA from a fungal source either in saline or emulsified in Freund's complete adjuvant. In each case the animals produced antibodies specific for double‐stranded RNA. Mice immunized in this way were as well protected against infection with encephalomyocarditis virus following a subsequent injection of double‐stranded RNA as were nonimmunized mice.
