Zusammenfassung:A study of the facial profile and its esthetic aspects has been performed, with specific consideration given to the characteristics of the upper, middle and lower thirds of the face. An analysis of the facial profile according to its angles and planes is presented. The importance of these details is emphasized and considered essential to every oral and plastic surgeon in evaluating the profile as a whole. A case with an unesthetic facial profile, in whom multiple surgery has been done in two surgical stages, is presented.
