Zusammenfassung:	Studies were conducted to determine the diagnostic usefulness of measuring HCG and HCG in various clinical circumstances-abortion, molar pregnancy, Rh immunization, toxemia, postturm pregnancy, diabetes, twin pregnancy, and intrauterine death. Although the tests proved helpful in some circumstances, the information obtained was not completely reliable. Their value at the present time appears to be greatest when they are made in conjunction with other tests.
