Zusammenfassung:Nuclei from epidermis cells of Calliphora vicina larvae were isolated by centrifugation in 2.2 M sucrose, 3.3 mM CaCl 2. The nuclei thus obtained are well preserved and only slightly contaminated with cell fragments. Their DNA/RNA/protein ratio is 1:2:7.8. The nuclei are able to incorporate 3H-UTP into RNA in a RNA synthesizing system.
