Zusammenfassung:A modified method is presented for the determination of leucocyte and platelet vitamin C in human blood. The cell preparation is designed to obviate the need to separate completely the platelets and leucocytes. The vitamin C is assayed by means of the 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine reaction. All aspects of the technique have been critically examined and evaluated. 18 normal males and 26 normal females (age range 17–53 years) have been investigated and the results compared with previously reported work.
