Zusammenfassung:	A comparison of three radioimmunoassay methods for measuring the concentration of carcinoembryonic antigen in plasma is presented. Experimental details are outlined for a slight modification of the zirconyl phosphate gel assay and for a coated tube sandwich assay and a rabbit anti-CEA: guinea-pig anti-rabbit double antibody system. The resulting assay profiles are discussed with reference to their potential in clinical practice.
