Zusammenfassung: | In 1408 patients undergoing diagnostic bronchography for various pulmonary lesions during a four-year period, a bronchial
block was demonstrated by this method in 210 of 236 cases of proved bronchogenic carcinoma, or an incidence of 89 per cent.
The diagnosis of bronchogenic carcinoma suggested by bronchography proved erroneous in only three cases of the entire series.
This study indicates bronchography to be an additional and effective method for the diagnosis of bronchogenic carcinoma. |
