Investigation into the humanistic approach applied in EFLT of Jinghong city

The paper states the theory of humanism and aims to investigate the application of the humanistic approach. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were employed in this investigation. Four data collection instruments were used, including questionnaires, interview, teacher development portfolios and development record notebooks. Results and discussion of the investigation indicate that the humanistic approach has really made profound impact upon English teachers and they are implementing it in their teaching.
