Radioactivity due to Fission Products in Biological Material

Methods are described which are used in determinations of beta- and gamma-emitting fission-prcduct radionuclides in biological materials. Results are presented for a series of samples of cow's milk and human milk. The sampling program for cow's milk covered the week of the accideat at the Windscale reactor, and results provide a record of the levels of fission prcducts in milk produced at that time in Cardiganshire, Wales.
