Intravesical strangulation of the small bowel An unusual complication of rupture of urinary bladder

Strangulation of a loop of small bowel as the result of herniation into the urinary bladder has never been described. A case of such presentation complicating an intraperitoneal rupture of the urinary bladder is presented and pertinent literature reviewed.
