Chromatin sub-structure. The digestion of chromatin DNA at regularly spaced sites by a nuclear deoxyribonuclease

Evidence is presented that indicates a regular sub-structure in nuclear nucleoprotein with regularly distributed sites that are specifically susceptible to the cellular Ca-Mg endonuclease.
