Naturally Occurring Bone Tumors in C57BL/lcrf Mice

Seven bone tumors were found in a colony of C57BL/lcrf mice. All occurred in females. Histologically these were osteosarcomas. Lymph node metastases were present in 1 mouse. Transplants from 2 primary tumors were bone forming. The ultrastructure of 1 of these is described.
