Zusammenfassung:A simple, rapid amylase procedure is described which requires only two stable ready-to-use reagents : a sterile buffered substrate solution of amylopectin dyed with Reactone Red 26, and a precipitant solution composed of 82% ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, 0.1% zinc chloride, and o.i M benzoate pH 4.4. The assay is sensitive, linear, and unaffected by laboratory temperature fluctuations.
