Zusammenfassung:The surface of color and mechanical properties of Poly-ether-ether-ketone (PEEK) films are changed under ultraviolet light (UV) irradiation in low earth orbit (LEO). In this study, PEEK composites dispersed with titanium oxide (TiO_2) were developed to improve the mechanical properties and UV resistance of PEEK. The composites were compressed, being melted when they were produced. The performances and properties of the PEEK/TiO_2 nanocomposites were examined in terms of hardness and surface color change after UV irradiation tests. The results showed that PEEK/TiO_2 nanocomposites enhanced the hardness and improved the UV resistance of PEEK.
