X-Ray Detected Magnetic Hysteresis of Thermally Evaporated Terbium Double-Decker Oriented Films

The successful evaporation of thick and thin films of an intact bis(phthalocyaninato)terbium single molecule magnet is reported and confirmed by chemical and magnetic characterization techniques. Synchrotron‐based X‐ray absorption spectroscopy reveals different magnetization dynamics associated to a...

Zusammenfassung:The successful evaporation of thick and thin films of an intact bis(phthalocyaninato)terbium single molecule magnet is reported and confirmed by chemical and magnetic characterization techniques. Synchrotron‐based X‐ray absorption spectroscopy reveals different magnetization dynamics associated to a change in the orientation of the molecules depending on the thickness of the films.
