Zusammenfassung:	Lividomycin, a new antibacterial agent, was used in the treatment of urinary tract infections. The serum and urine concentrations after an intramuscular injection of 500mg lividomycin were closely similar to those reported previously. Lividomycin was effective in 70% of 25 cases with urinary tract infections.The bacteria isolated from the effective cases were also sensitive to kanamycin.Therefore, we assumed that lividomycin has similar effects to KM. Lividomycin was most effective against infections Escherichia coil and to some extent effective in those with Proteus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.No obvious side effect was found.
