Zusammenfassung:	A case of latent ectopic pulmonary choriocarcinoma associated with renal cell carcinoma is reported. The pulmonary choriocarcinoma appeared in a 48-year-old woman, 26 years after her last pregnancy and 8 years after a total hysterosalpingo-oophorectomy. The various possible mechanisms of latent ectopic choriocarcinoma are discussed.
