Zusammenfassung: | This is with reference to the publication by May and associates regarding the subject noted above.
I am very puzzled by this report. If I understand correctly, the conclusions are or at least the inference is that it was not possible to show a hyposensitizing effect of the customary injection treatment of children with allergic rhinitis or asthma or both because in no case did intradermal skin tests with the allergens become negative. It is also stated that "as judged by the review of the clinical records and physician's and parent's opinions, improvement or worsening of clinical manifestations did not seem to be different in injected and uninjected subjects." |
