The development of Eimeria brunetti in monolayer cultures of chick kidney tissue inoculated with sporozoites is described. First-generation schizonts 14 to 28 by 10 to 18 µ and containing 14 to 42 merozoites were found at 66 hr, while second-generation schizonts 8 to 18 by 6 to 13 µ and containing 6...

Synchronization of development was poor. Sexual reproduction was not achieved.
