Zusammenfassung: | Five cases of pregnancy co-existing with carcinoma of the endometrium have been reported since 1900. These are summarized and a sixth case is presented in detail. Reasons for the rarity of this association are postulated. Some interesting comparisons and contrasts among the 6 cases are discussed. Histologically, the tumors have tended to be focal, well-differentiated, and minimally or noninvasive. Three have occurred as adenoacanthomas. Treatment has varied considerably and no conclusions regarding ideal therapy can be drawn. |
