Reports demonstrate microglial accumulation in glioma and predict their assistance in glioma growth and spreading. Clarification of the ‘double-edged’ appearance of microglia is necessary to unfold its role in glioma biology. In this article the interpretation of microglial activities has been attempted to reveal their actual function in glioma.
