Inhibition of Sodium- and Potassium-Dependent Adenosine Triphosphatase by Digoxin Covalently Bound to Sepharose

A procedure for the synthesis of a series of digoxin-derivatized Sepharose compounds is described. These compounds inhibit a soluble (Na+ + K+)-ATPase from rat brain to a degree paralleling the length of the hydrocarbon bridge.
