Zusammenfassung:Forty patients with 43 Wilms' tumours have been reviewed and the results of the radiological investigations of 32 studied. There had been little difficulty in establishing the correct diagnosis in infants and children from the results of clinical examination and excretion urography. Urgent therapy is usually instituted following a minimum of investigation. Patients with other diseases, however, may present with similar features and 5 such cases are reported. Further investigations are recommended for every patient suspected of suffering from Wilms' tumour but with atypical radiological signs. The tumour is rare in adults and full radiological investigation is indicated in all such cases.
