Zusammenfassung: | Primary hypoestrogenic amenorrhea was associated with increased secretion of gonadotropins and the presence of ovarian follicles. The ovaries were stimulated sequentially with exogenous human postmenopausal gonadotropins (HMG) and human chorionic gonadotropins (HCG). The very slight response to 11,400 IU of FSH followed by 15,000 IU of HCG confirmed the hyposensitivity of these ovaries to gonadotropins. The “resistant ovaries syndrome” should, by definition, include the following criteriaa) endogenous hypergonado-tropinemia, b) piesence of normal ovarian follicles and c) hyporeceptivity of the ovaries to an excessive stimulation with exogenous human gonadotropins. |
