A second look at surgical care in major catastrophes

We have attempted to present some of the factors that must be considered in the care of mass catastrophes. It is of the greatest importance that such information be widely disseminated and thoroughly understood in order that we reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with catastrophic injury.
