Evidence for cross-reactivity of antigens at the level of thymus-derived cells

Cross-reactivity between sheep and horse red blood cells is not exhibited when measured by the plaque assay. It can, however, be demonstrated with the rosette test suggesting that cross-reactivity is expressed at the T-cell level, but not at the B-cell level.
