Zusammenfassung:Twenty-five patients with secondary amenorrhea or oligomenorrhea were studied with buccal smear, nuclear sex analysis, and leukocyte karyotyping. XX/XO Chromosomal mosaicism was found in 3 patients (12 per cent). The data, although preliminary, suggest that a buccal smear should be performed on all patients with secondary amenorrhea of greater than 6 months' duration or on those with oligomenorrhea.
