Zusammenfassung:During a one-year period, most patients admitted to Children's Hospital of Newark with the diagnosis of croup syndrome had posteroanterior and lateral films of the neck as an aid to diagnosis. All 3 cases of epiglottitis were correctly diagnosed. These data suggest that this procedure may be of help to the clinician in the differential diagnosis of the croup syndrome.
