Zusammenfassung:This study summarizes relationships among blood pressure, 24-hour sodium output, basal output and output under load, in patients on self-selected diets. Additional evidence was secured for the existence of a general correlation between blood pressure and sodium output. This correlation persisted when the blood pressure of hypertensive patients was chronically reduced by medical or surgical therapy.
