Aneurysm of the Membranous Ventricular Septum Producing Right Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction and Left Ventricular Failure

An unusual case of aneurysm of the left ventricular septum associated with corrected transposition of the great vessels, right ventricular outflow tract obstruction and left ventricular failure is presented. The clinical, hemodynamic and cineangiographic features have been described. Surgical correction immediately abolished the pressure gradient and the patient has had symptomatic improvement
