Zusammenfassung:An interactive data input, storage, retrieval and treatment system ( LAMES) is described for use in histophatological studies where pathologists evaluate tissues without any identification (termed evaluations which are ‘blind’). The system produces the mean values of individual groups within an experiment, and results of statistical comparisons between the groups. The system was implemented on a Hewlett-Packard (HP) 1000-F minicomputer operating under RTE-6/VM, and was written using FORTRAN IV.
