Zusammenfassung:Coronary sinus pacing was employed to effectively control a symptomatic, drug refractory ventricular ectopic rhythm. Apparent failure of the permanent demand generator unit to properly sense ventricular premature depolarizations was observed. A marked rise in the threshold for pacing occurred within a five day period without a change in the catheter position. The exact genesis of this alteration in threshold could not be identified.
