Zusammenfassung:young male Egyptian farm-workers treated with single oral dose of praziquantel at 2 dose rates, all but 3 of 30 patients infected with Hymenolepis nana were cured and the 3 who were not had received lower dose, drug had no effect on Ancylostoma duodenale, only 9 of 22 patients infected with Schistosoma mansoni stopped passing live eggs in stools, 6 of 7 patients infected with S. haematobium appeared to have been cured, drug side effects were minimal
