Zusammenfassung:This work compared an injection-moulded polymethylmethacrylate with two conventional acrylic denture-base materials and a nylon 12. It was shown that the nylon and the injection-moulded PVS-H polymer could have a use in the treatment of patients with known allergy to conventional heat-cured acrylic denture-base materials. In addition the considerable improvements in mechanical properties that are still required by denture-base polymers are shown by nylon.
