Zusammenfassung: | The bronchial asthma can be recognized clinically by episodes of breathlessness and wheezing. While many factors have been discussed about the cause of the bronchial asthma, hypersusceptibility of the asthma apparatus may be indispensable. In this respect, following patients were observed as 64 cases of out-come asthmatics, 25 cases of admitted asthmatic patients and 16 cases of chronic bronchitis with asthmatic symptoms. The immunological response including reaginic and non-reaginic types may play an important role to build such hypersusceptibility. In all asthmatic cases, however, immunological response may not always be detacteble clinically either on skin testing or after inhalation challenge. Another factors may be concerned with producing the hypersusceptibility in each asthmatic patient, such as hereditary, environmental, bodily and emotional factors and so on. Treatment of the asthmatic patients must be indicated to eliminate the factors which have pro-duced the hypersusceptible asthma apparatus of each case. It may be different ways in individual asthmatics how they have acquired the hypersuscetibility. It may be necessary to analyse the factors in each case, and then physicians together with patients themselves have to strive to elimi-nate each hypersusceptibility from respective asthma apparatus for long duration. It may be thought that the treatment of asthma must be pointed not only to the bronchial asthma as disease but also to the asthma patients as human beings. |
