Zusammenfassung:Abstract To test the hypothesis that idiopathic hyperaldosteronism is secondary to increased adrenal stimulation by aldosterone-stimulating factor, we measured the latter in seven patients with idiopathic hyperaldosteronism and in four patients who had undergone surgical removal of an aldosterone-producing adenoma.
