Zusammenfassung: | A large ovarian cyst which had ruptured producing massive hemoperitoneum was studied by electron microscopy. The lining of the cyst consisted of dense sheets of granulosa cells, with interspersed thecal elements and numerous Call-Exner bodies. The cells showed deep nuclear indentations and marginated chromatin. Cytoplasm included polyribosomes, lipid deposits and abundant smooth endoplasmic reticulum. Numerous desmosomes with attached cytoplasmic filaments were present. The ultrastructural findings were similar to those observed in noncystic granulosa cell tumors. |
