Zusammenfassung:This study considers whether or not unilateral removal of superior temporal cortex in monkeys disrupts performance of a nonspatial delayed auditory matching task. Preliminary evidence of such an impairment has been suggested. Monkeys were evaluated before and after unilateral and serial bilateral removal of superior temporal cortex. No significant postoperative impairment was noted.
