Zusammenfassung:Since February 1981, eight patients with neoplastic intractable pain have been treated by intracerebroventricular administration of small doses of morphine. Morphine was injected into the cerebrospinal fluid through a ventricular reservoir either by direct puncture or by selfadministration. Clinical results were very good, and there were no deleterious effects.
