Selective C1q deficiency in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus

SUMMARY We report a case of systemic lupus erythematosus with selective C1q deficiency. C1q deficiency had been presumed to be a non‐hereditary disorder; however, the 10 reported cases in the world literature, and our case, suggest that C1q deficiency could also be an inherited disease.
