Zusammenfassung:The adequacy of vitamin and mineral provision during enteral nutrition for a period of at least two weeks was studied in 20 patients. Significant increases were observed in plasma levels of vitamins C and E, and in B 2, B 6 and folate status. No significant changes were observed in vitamins A, B 1, B 12 or in plasma magnesium, zinc or copper. The requirements for vitamins and minerals during enteral nutrition are discussed.
