First data on forms of gold occurrence in lithochemical sedimental streams of the Gold-Silver Dukat deposit (Northeastern Russia)

One of the commonly accepted methods applied during study of the ore potential of territories is the search by lithochemical sedimental streams. Areal survey of 1:200,000 scale is traditionally applied. On the northeastern territory of Russia, which is unique in the concentration of epithermal Au-Ag mineralization, where the formation of loose alluvial flux deposits occurs under the conditions of a cryolithogenesis zone, the authors came across the fact that some geochemical anomalies revealed by this method, which result from poor ore mineralization are little different from anomalies resulting from Au-Ag ores by the composition and contrast.
