Zusammenfassung:A patient with a 6-year history of an undifferentiated connective tissue disorder, manifested by recurrent polyarthritis, was admitted because of pneumococcal pyarthrosis which involved 8 joints. Because of the rarity of multi-joint pyarthrosis, studies were performed to evaluate his host-defense of serum chemotactic factors, an abnormality not previously described in patients with this form of arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
